Press On..
God uses suffering as a way to train and strengthens us. Perhaps, you are facing a very difficult time in your life right now where you are being tempted to feel like God has let you down.
As BELIEVERS we are full aware that it is to be expected to have life's difficulties and trials in our lives. As believers we endured a great deal of suffering. We can endure a great deal of persecution, in different ways more than others.
It's part of carrying our cross to follow our Savior. Sometimes, we are being tested by God to know where we are with our faith. We have to take comfort in your pain that the Father did not exempt Jesus Christ His only son, who suffered from the test of being allowed to “feel” forsaken.
It’s the key to understand that God didn’t cause it – although, sure enough, God allowed it, --
there is a big difference! And we question, Why would God allow such a thing whatever pain and suffering we are going through in our lives? We have to remember that whatever you are suffering from, whatever it is that is tormenting you and whatever we are all facing in anguish right now is qualifying you and me to experience greater joy throughout eternity, than what any mere mortal can possibly comprehend this side of heaven.
Just don’t quit on God. Press on, and keep the fight of faith because if we listen to the whisper of the enemy that’s basically what the enemy wants you to do, to give up and feel defeated!
But Jesus said, it is finished! We already have the victory, satan has been defeated at the cross.
Since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have. Philippians 1:30
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Philippians 3:12
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15
